Monthly club nights
Club Nights
- All members must register via Swim Central.
- Entry deadline is 6 PM on the Thursday before Club Night.
- Points System for Age Champion:
- 1 point awarded for each Club Night attended, provided the swimmer participates in at least 2 events.
- Trial swimmers can register via the Miami website or on the night.
- After participating in 2 trial club nights, swimmers must join Miami Swimming Club to continue
competing.
Miami Club Championships
- All financial members of Miami Swimming Club are invited to participate in the Club Championships.
- Medals will be awarded for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place in each event for each age group.
- Points towards the Miami Age Championships will be awarded as follows: 4 points for 1st place, 3 points for 2nd place, 2 points for 3rd place, and 1 point for attendance.
- Achieving a personal best (PB) will earn 3 points towards the Age Champion title.
Age Champion
Eligibility Criteria:
- Must be a financial member of Miami Swimming Club by December 1, year of the season.
- Must have swum a minimum of 2 events at 3 club nights.
- Must swim a minimum of 4 races at the Miami Club Championships.
- The Age Champion will be determined based on the swimmer’s age on the first night of the Club.
- Championships. If the swimmer has a birthday between the two nights of the Club Championships, they will compete in the age group they belong to on the first night.
- Age Champion points will be accumulated from:
- Club Night Attendance (minimum of 3).
- Club Championship Placings – Points awarded for 1st, 2nd, 3rd place, and the number of events swum.
- Any personal bests (PBs) achieved at the Club Championships.
