Flavio Barbara

Coach – Junior Development Squads

Flavio Barbara – Junior Development Coach

I have been coaching for the past 10 years and am fortunate to have worked with some of the best international coaches, which has shaped the coach I am today. I began my coaching journey shortly after finishing my own swimming career as an athlete, which sparked my desire to learn more. This led me to earn a degree in Sport Science with a specialization in swimming, allowing me to combine scientific knowledge with practical experience.

Since moving to Australia in 2022, I’ve focused on guiding swimmers of all ages, from adults to our Junior and Bronze squads, helping them develop not only their swimming skills but also important life skills. I’m dedicated to supporting their long-term growth and success here at Miami.
